Coffee Cup Democrat -

Florida Man Fires Gun At Teens Kills One Michael Dunn accused of 2nd degree murder after he shot eight rounds into a Doge Durango at a Florida gas station. Mr. Dunn claims self defense but there are some very serious issues with his defense as it doesn’t fit the narrative that the Police investigation discovered. It seems the teens were playing their car stereo very loudly at the gas station. Michael Dunn, the shooter, pulled in and was (I suppose) pumping gas at the neighboring pump. Mr. Dunn was bothered by the loud music and he “asked” the teens in the Dodge Durango to turn the music down. Mr. Dunn, as has been stated either by him or his lawyer, THOUGHT he saw a shotgun being aimed at him so he reached into his car glove compartment and pulled out his concealed gun which he fired 8 times into the Durango killing one Jordan Davis. After the shooting, Mr. Dunn quickly drove away. He drove to his motel, quickly packed up his belongings and drove to his home some distance away. It was only after witnesses gave a description of the car and reported the license plate that [...]

Florida Man Fires Gun Into Car Full Of Teens At Florida Gas Station Killing One Gary Howard

Coffee Cup Democrat -

Black Friday Sales On Thursday OK, it’s sort of a slow news day so what is a blogger to do. Well we went out and found a story. We beat it into shape and forced it to turn into news, or at least something that resembles news. So we present to you, much like the stores that made this “newsiness” possible, the “Black Friday” sale now available on Thursday or (Thanksgiving) to your “normal’s” out there. So what did Black Thursday, I mean Black Friday Look Like? It use to be that stores would wait till midnight to start their yearly “Black Friday” sales. This year Friday came early as major chain stores like Walmart and Target started their “Black Friday” sale shortly after dinner on Thanksgiving as is shown in this video shot in Burke Virginia, a suburb of Washington DC. Doors opened as early as 8:00 PM on Thanksgiving. Will this trend continue in the years to come? If these lines are any indicator the answer is that they likely will. That was the scene at a local Burke Virginia Target store on Thanksgiving evening. Hope Your Thanksgiving Black Friday Was A Happy One [...]

Black Friday Comes Early This Year Video Of A Local Target Store ON ThanksGiving Rob Korczak

Coffee Cup Democrat -

EX-CIA Chief David Petraeus Testifies About Benghazi Former CIA chief David Petraeus testified before Congress in a special underground closed door location about the terrorist attacks on the American consulate in Benghazi attack in Libya. The attack which resulted in the deaths of several Americans including the Ambassador. Petraeus told Congress that he knew within minutes that a terrorist attack was taking place at the embassy but that there were various reports coming in. At least a couple of the reports claiming that the attack was the result of a Demonstration gone wrong. A sort of copycat style demonstration which mimicked the one taking place in Egypt. David Petraeus: Did President Obama and Susan Rice Lie About Benghazi? The short answer is no. Neither the President nor Susan Rice lied to Congress or the American people. Senator Saxby Chambliss, the senior Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee from Georgia put it this way; “I’m not saying she lied, I’m just saying she didn’t tell [the truth],” Chambliss told MSNBC. “She put a softer touch on what the real facts were.

Coffee Cup Democrat -

Mitt Romney Is Unable To Take Responsibility The election is over but instead of being magnanimous, Mitt Romney feels the need to blame everyone else for his loss. It’s very disappointing to hear such “sour grapes” from Mitt Romney who claims Barack Obama only won the election by giving “gifts” to minorities. Otherwise Romney would have won. Mitt Romney Out Of Touch Then & Now Mitt Romney has been called “out of touch” during the Presidential campaign and that’s nothing new. What is new is the lengths Mitt Romney went to after the election to prove just how out of touch he truly is. It would seem, judging by this latest emerging story, that Mitt Romney meant exactly what he said about the “47%” of Americans who are freeloaders and will only vote for Barack Obama in a pseudo-Quid Pro Quo arrangement. Republicans Criticize Romney Comments Republican Governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal was very quick to criticize Mitt Romney for the ridiculous comments Romney made to supporters on a conference call. Jindal claimed that what Romney said does not represent what the Republican party is about and it is not where the Republican party wants to be. Bobby Jindal [...]

Updated!

Coffee Cup Democrat -

Republican & Democrat Election Pundits Got It Wrong There is no doubt that the Republican party was caught entirely off guard on election day with the very quick and decisive way that Mitt Romney was dispatched. Pundits on both sides of the aisle believed that this election was going to be extremely close. MSNBC had beefed up their staff for election day should there be a recount or lawsuit for the disputed presidency just as it was in 2000 between Al Gore and George W Bush. Although MSNBC was looking at the same polls as the rest of the “main stream media” there was some noticeable tension within their ranks. Republican Echo Chamber On the other side of the aisle, FOX News and their viewers were extremely confident that Mitt Romney would be elected President in a landslide election. As has been reported before, FOX News was not going to trust the regular reputable pollsters as they believed that they were polling a disproportionately large number of Democrats than Republicans. In the end this turned out to be entirely false but at the time this was the prevailing thought in the FOX News Republican echo chamber. Where Did The Romney [...]

The Future Of The Republican Party Post 2012 Election Mitt Romney Loss Rick Gilbert

The last time I watched it with any regularity, Bill O’Reilly was just starting to talk about the “War on Christmas” and Glen Beck hadn’t been heard of yet. MSNBC had only just hired Keith Olberman and gave him a set held together with Duct Tape. That’s how long it’s been since I last watched FOX News with any regularity. In any case, I decided to watch a bit of “Fox News” for at least an hour a day since election day (inclusive). To say that I am SHOCKED by the diatribe, hostility and outright fabrications that are now openly being spewed by FOX “News” is putting the matter very mildly. What’s So Terrible With FOX News Programming Every show, with maybe the exception of Sheppard Smith, is constantly attacking the President of the United States for things he doesn’t even have anything to do with.
