Things We Can Learn From World War 2 *Caution: Graphic Content*

What Is There To Learn From World War II? A Lot!

Old Wars New Lessons

What Old Wars Can Teach Us About The Present!

Do you know the cause of World War 2?

Chances are that you do but do you know the reasons behind the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Probably not so much.

The sad fact of the matter is that Americans generally don’t understand the intricacies of why their nation gets involved in foreign wars.

Yes, in some cases they are called “Police Actions” but they are truly wars.

This won’t be a long lesson because the video we worked to create says everything that we think is important for everyone to know and understand.

One last thing, when the United States goes to war, it does so in the name of ALL AMERICANS. That include you and me so it’s extremely important that we stay as informed as possible. The elections are almost upon us and we may just end up with a trigger happy President. If that turns out to be the case we have to be prepared to understand the conflicts and how to take action in the form of talking to our other representatives.

There is one more message that the video conveys. There has been an understandable movement to make war sanitary, to remove the danger and gore and death from the U.S. side. While this may make sense from a desire for survival point of view, the act of sanitizing war is to remove all the ugliness that makes war a very undesirable venture to get involved in.

War should always be the absolute last resort, the pain, the gore and all the horrible things that go along with war should act as a deterrent. Flying drones that fire upon civilians or airplanes that fly out of reach of the enemies guns makes war something that doesn’t affect Americans. The war becomes a matter of dollars and cents instead of lives, deaths, widows and orphans. It is those very things that are required to make war a very final and last option.

There are just wars, there always have been, but war is a nightmare come true and it should be understood as such.

We hope you enjoy the video.
